Options - Internet

Introduction

The Internet Options tab contains configuration settings for internet line speed.

Note that both upload and download speed needs to be set correctly in order for the product to operate. When it doubt it is recommended that the speeds be set conservatively. If the speed is set higher than the actual line speed then features such as prioritization will attempt to use too much bandwidth, causing congestion.

User Interface

• Download capacity - Sets the download speed of the internet line. This value is specified in kilobits per second (kb/s) rather than bytes per second. The maximum download speed is 3,687 kb/s.
• Upload capacity - Sets the upload speed of the internet line in kb/s. The maximum upload speed is 3,687 kb/s.
