Triggers

Overview

Triggers are part of the scheduling framework for rules. Each trigger allows you to specify the cause of the trigger and the effect it will have on the rule it belongs to.

Trigger Window

Once only trigger

Set the date and time that the trigger will take effect. Once the trigger is executed it is not processed again.

Daily Trigger

Set the time of day that the trigger will be processed. The trigger is processed every day at that same time.

Data Transfer Trigger

Enter the number of megabytes (MB) that are to be transferred through the rule before the trigger takes effect.

Enable

Enables the rule when the trigger is executed.

Disable

Disables the rule when the trigger is executed.

Set Maximum Rate

Sets the maximum bandwidth allowed for the user when the trigger is processed. This value is in bytes per second (B/s).
