Options - LAN
Introduction
The LAN Options tab contains configuration settings that relate to the local
network. It allows you to define the IP address range of the local network
which is used by the server to process inter-LAN traffic at full speed.
User Interface
-
Full speed local network traffic - Enables inter-LAN traffic to
flow at full speed, regardless of the download and upload capacity settings.
-
Starting IP address - Enter the lowest IP address in the LAN range.
-
Ending IP address - Enter the highest IP address in the LAN range.
-
Override rules that cover this range - When full speed LAN is
enabled, rules that classify traffic in the LAN range will slow that
traffic down to the modem speed. When this option is enabled, full speed
is given to inter-LAN traffic regardless of any rules that cover the
IP address range specified above.
